TEMA Shell-and-Tube Design Practice
TEMA (Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association) publishes mechanical standards for shell-and-tube heat exchangers (classes R, C, B and three-letter type codes). Ohm Engineers uses TEMA as a design and fabrication practice when the enquiry specifies it.

Validity
Not a certificate with an expiry date. The edition named on the purchase order applies.
How Ohm uses it
- TEMA type codes (e.g. BEM, AEL) on datasheets and GAs.
- Class R / C / B construction details when the buyer names the class.
- Baffle, bundle, and clearance practice consistent with the named edition.
What we are not claiming: Ohm Engineers does not describe TEMA as a 'certification' or 'TEMA certified company'. Compliance is to the specified edition and class on the order.
