Product Overview
In a U-tube heat exchanger the tubes bend 180° at one end and terminate in one tubesheet. That flex absorbs differential growth between tubes and shell when temperatures differ strongly.
The bundle can be pulled for shell-side inspection or cleaning. Mechanical cleaning through the U-bends is not practical — choose this type when the tube-side fluid is relatively clean or can be cleaned chemically.

U-Tube Heat Exchanger
U-tube construction uses a single tubesheet and U-bent tubes so the bundle can expand freely and be withdrawn for shell-side access. Suited to large tube-to-shell temperature difference or when the bundle must come out for cleaning — manufactured at our Vadodara works.
