Ohm Engineers supplies hybrid combination vacuum systems — multi-stage steam jet ejectors with liquid ring vacuum pump backing — for deep, stable vacuum down to approximately 0.5 Torr with lower utility risk than ejector-only trains at the deepest pressures.

Working principle
Hybrid vacuum system architecture
Primary stages use motive steam to compress process vapour to an intermediate pressure. A liquid ring vacuum pump provides the final compression to atmosphere, improving stability and reducing motive steam at very low suction pressures.

How does a hybrid system compare to ejectors only?
Hybrids reduce motive steam at very low suction pressures and improve stability by using a liquid ring backing pump. Send suction load, pressure and available utilities for a stage-by-stage comparison on the offer.
When should I specify a hybrid instead of ejectors only?
When suction pressure must be held below ~1 Torr with stable operation, or when motive steam availability is constrained. Send suction capacity, pressure, and available steam conditions on the RFQ.
