Quality
Work is controlled under ISO 9001:2015. Inspection and testing follow the agreed ITP for each order — not a single unpublished shop standard applied to every unit.
Quality management
ISO 9001:2015 covers the quality management system at the Vadodara works. It is not a product stamp on the heat exchanger.
Typical inspection and test scope
- Dimensional inspection against approved drawings
- Weld visual inspection
- NDT as specified on the ITP (RT, UT, DPT / PT as applicable)
- Hydrostatic testing of pressure parts
- Mill test certificates (MTC) for pressure-boundary materials
Third-party inspection is arranged when the purchase order requires it. We do not list design-code stamps or CE marking as certificates Ohm currently holds.
Traceability and release
Pressure-boundary materials are purchased to specification with mill test certificates retained against heat numbers. Nameplate data, as-built drawings and test records form the documentation pack released against the ITP before dispatch.

- What certification do you hold?
- ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. How we follow international design practice is described on About Us — those practices are not published here as certifications.
- Do you perform NDT on every unit?
- NDT (RT, UT, DPT / PT) is performed as named on the inspection test plan for that order — not assumed for every exchanger.
- Can a third-party inspector attend?
- Yes, when the purchase order requires third-party inspection. Hold points are agreed on the ITP before fabrication starts.
