Engineering & Design

Thermal review of the enquiry data, mechanical design to the named code, and GA / fabrication drawings for approval before steel is cut.

Material Selection

Pressure-boundary plate, pipe, and tubes purchased to specification with mill test certificates retained against heat numbers.

Fabrication

Shell rolling, tubesheet machining, nozzle fit-up, and channel fabrication to the approved drawings.

Precision Welding

Pressure welds executed to qualified procedures. Weld maps feed the inspection plan.

Inspection

Dimensional checks, visual weld inspection, and hold points agreed on the ITP — including third-party inspection when the purchase order requires it.

Testing

Hydrostatic testing of pressure parts. NDT (RT, UT, DPT) as specified — not assumed for every unit.

Finishing

Surface preparation and coating to the purchase specification. Flange faces protected for storage and transit.

Final Quality Verification

Nameplate data, documentation pack, and release against the ITP before the unit leaves the shop.

Dispatch / Export

Packing, nozzle blinds, and logistics from Vadodara for Indian sites or export shipment as commercially agreed.

Export packing and dispatch

When the purchase order is for an overseas site, packing, nozzle protection, documentation and freight coordination are part of the delivery scope as commercially agreed. Ohm manufactures in India. We do not operate factories in export markets.
